In all my paintings and abstracts I like to use some of the more technology advanced paints, such as pearlized paints, glazes and at times, I'll even use some of the florescent hues. By adding these small touches items such as the water will change colors and will shine under different lighting conditions, giving the paintings an animated quality to them. On a few of these paintings, one can shine a bright light on it for a while, then turn off all the lights and parts of the painting will glow. This effect looks really neat on water areas, I've done my car with it, and a few of my paintings too. These are just small treasures added into the value of the whole painting. These small details also add a lot of time spent on painting these masterpieces, and I still price them below decent hourly wages.
